Stranded

Two arena servers, each with its saves on a volume. Nothing's wrong — yet.

When a pod won't start, kubectl describe pod ends with the scheduler's reasons, node by node. Storage matters here: this cluster's standard volumes live on one node's disk, so a pod can only run where its volume is.

Objectives

  • Find out why arena-0 is Pending
  • Both servers running again, arena-0 with its saves
  • Bonus: See which node the claim is tied to: kubectl describe pvc saves-arena-0

Best on a computer with a keyboard. It works on a phone, with shortcuts under the terminal.
