nginx:1.28 is out and you need it live — without taking the site down.

Change a deployment's pod template (its image, say) and it starts a rolling update: a new ReplicaSet grows while the old one shrinks. Two limits govern the pace — maxSurge (up to 25% extra pods) and maxUnavailable (up to 25% missing) — so with 6 replicas it runs at most 8 pods and keeps at least 5 ready.
